Pillars of the IAC Fellows Program

The elements of our program are embodied by four pillars: (1) a paid internship at one of IAC’s brands, (2) educational, cultural, and career-building experiences, (3) mentorship from leading industry professionals, and (4) access to multiple financial resources.

Competitive Internships

IAC Fellows have access to a diverse set of competitively paid eight to ten-week summer internships across a variety of IAC businesses such as Dotdash Meredith, The Daily Beast, Angi, and Care.com. These internships put Fellows in the trenches, testing their skills in real world scenarios, and provide exposure to different business models, functions, and roles.

Skip the application! If Fellows successfully complete one summer and would like to return to the program, they only interview for internship opportunities and need not reapply.

Educational, Cultural, and Career-Building Experiences

Private backstage tours of Lincoln Center and The Whitney Museum. Lunches and fireside chats with C-Suite members. Thanks to IAC’s robust network of local partners and support from executive leadership throughout the IAC network, Fellows enjoy a plethora of unique experiences that offer opportunities for creative inspiration, networking, and career development.

Lasting Mentors

Mentorship is the cornerstone of the IAC Fellows Program. IAC Fellow Mentors work to affirm in the Fellows’ hearts and minds that there is a professional adult who is invested in their professional and personal success. Quality mentor relationships have powerful positive effects on Fellows in a variety of personal, academic, and professional situations. They build self-confidence, assuring that they matter and that they are not alone.

Financial Resources

We believe that IAC Fellows deserve to have quality education and internship experiences uncompromised by financial pressures. They deserve to have an opportunity to be present and learn without the mental and emotional stress of wondering if they or their family members will be able to cover critical expenses. Therefore, we offer several financial resources as part of the program.

  1. When a Fellow successfully completes the program, they will receive an $8k bonus intended for academic related expenses on campus.

  2. Fellows facing unexpected and severe hardships are eligible to apply for emergency funds through our Hardship Relief Program. These cash grants up to $10k may be used for emergency medical situations, disasters, or other general hardships.

  3. Fellows who are Pell Grant eligible may apply to the IAC Charitable Foundation Scholarship Program that awards $10k scholarships for a variety of student expenses.

The IAC Difference:

If a Fellow receives a full-time offer at IAC or any of its brands, the employer will pay off their student debt following several years of employment.
